Summer Praise Project is an arts and praise workshop at New Life Church in Sutter Creek offering instruction in movement, worship flags and art. Participants will explore the meaning of Yahweh as demonstrated in scripture and in our expression of worship. Students 5 years to 17 years old attend the workshop sessions on Friday and Saturday leading up to the Sunday morning presentation at New Life Church on June 22. 

Friday 9:00 am - 2:30pm: Worship flag introductory seminar and lead artist demonstrations of upcoming projects. Choreography sessions, art projects, devotional and prayer sessions. Lunch and light snacks are provided.

Saturday 9:00 am- 3:30 pm: Choreography sessions, art projects, devotional and prayer sessions. Lunch and light snacks are provided.

Sunday 9:00 am: students check-in with instructors before 10:00 am service presentation.

All students will get to participate in learning a choreographed worship flag or movement presentation in addition to creating an art piece. Students are grouped by age. Please come prepared with clothes that are modest and comfortable to move in, like full length t-shirts, basketball shorts, joggers, leggings or track pants. We spend all day on our feet so athletic shoes are recommended (flip flops, crocs or slides are not safe for jumping or spinning on concrete floors). We encourage you to bring a refillable water bottle. Students will receive their own Praise Project T-shirt to wear for Sunday’s presentation. Registration is free.
